Doron is always looking to use his talents to surprise anyone.
Actor, writer, composer and banana bread connoisseur Doron JéPaul Mitchell was a pretty stereotypical "Military Brat". Born on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, his family moved to Germany for the majority of his childhood before coming back to America and settling in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. Once an aspiring mathematics teacher and high school football coach, he quickly discovered a love for music and theatre while earning his B.A. from Colorado College. Since completing his MFA training at NYU Grad Acting, Doron hasn’t looked back. He recently made his Broadway Debut in Aaron Sorkin’s critically acclaimed adaptation of To Kill A Mockingbird, featuring Jeff Daniels and Latanya Richardson-Jackson, and the Lincoln Center’s One Night Only Benefit Concert of Camelot featuring Lin-Manuel Miranda. Doron’s interest in film started at a young age and since moving to New York it has only expanded. After appearing in the Huffington Post Award-winning short, NIGHT, Doron shifted his focus to film, where his charismatic presence, charged subtleties, emotional dexterity could reach many more. After his play, "A LETTER TO..." debuted at the National Black Theatre (2018) as a part of the Homebase Theatre Collective, Doron has since developed work with communities such as New York Stage and Film, Columbia University MFA Acting and was a lead writer on the devised production of INTERSECTIONS that debuted at the Guthrie Theatre in 2016.
