Since he was five, Doron saw the world as one big storybook. Over the years his writing endeavors give him the opportunity to not just embody the stories but to create worlds.

  • TOKEN (Feature Screenplay, Dramedy): Through the eyes of DeAire Thomas, we explore the world of mental health in the male community and the ways in which we navigate healing.

  • TRAPHOUSE (Feature Screenplay, Thriller): Unable to pay for her father’s healthcare, a negligent woman borrows money from a drug dealer, who then forces her to sell drugs out of her home, creating a high-risk environment for her virtuous niece, until her debts spike.

  • A LETTER TO… (One-Act Play, Family Drama): The story of a young family wrestling with the tragic loss of a loved one and how we comprehend grief.

Producer

Doron believes that true change occurs when social impact can collaborate with entertainment.

  • Founder of the multimedia production company, Thermostat Media LLC. designed to Empower, Educate and Entertain through a variety of media from visual media to music and film.

  • Currently serves as the Chief Creative Officer and Head of Development at Alto Entertainment, a TV and Film production company dedicated to redefining sound cinema and movie musicals.

  • He served as the lead producer and writer of the project, “Self//Tape” in association with Cinereach LTD

  • Co-produced the much anticipated international feature film, “Ben And Suzanne, a Reunion in 4 Parts”.

  • Currently in post production on the upcoming pilot sitcom, “Close Talkers” in association with Alto Entertainment.

  • In collaboration with Regina Taylor, Doron produced and curated this year's production of BLACK ALBUM MIXTAPE, a collection of independent media responses to the year in progress by new, diverse, and exciting artists across the country.

  • In addition to acting on Broadway, TV and film, Doron continues his work as a script consultant for a series of screenplays and plays with clientele from New York, LA, and the greater Southwest region. He has developed and cultivated projects with Level Forward Company, New York Stage and Film, New York Theatre Workshop, The Lark, SPACE on Ryder Farm, Wheelhouse, BMI, Less Than Rent Theatre, and Playwrights Horizons to name a few.

Doron spends about as much time on set and on stage as he does in coffee shops, music studios, and going on walks. He embraces meeting new people, places, and experiences as an opportunity to reflect. His poetry, music, and prose have been published in Colorado and New York among various places. He’s always interested in discussing the world with whoever is willing to listen.
